Easter holidays have arrived in Liverpool and there’s lots of fun things for you and the kids to do in and around the city.
We’re all getting eggs-cited about Easter and there’s lots going on to keep everyone busy and entertained during the special spring holiday.
Make at Tate Liverpool:
Wild Escape Don't miss the perfect free family activity, Make at Tate, hosted by Tate Liverpool. Families are invited to get creative and crafty by producing animal habitat artworks inspired by artworks from the Tate collection. The Tate will also be handing out free 'Explore and Draw' sketchbooks. This daily event will run from 1st April until 16th April.
Children’s Easter Party at The Palm House Sefton Park
On 5th April, the Palm House in Sefton Park is inviting families to enjoy an exciting children’s Easter party. Brimming with fun things to do such as dancing, an egg hunt, games and a special visit from the Easter bunny, the party is the perfect event for children to revel in the magic of Easter. The location is also home to a stunning park, and visitors are welcome to wander around it and enjoy the spring flowers. Adults do not need a ticket to enter, and tickets for children are £15.
Otterspool Easter Adventure
Otterspool Adventure has a fantastic immersive experience for your little ones, and this time, it's Easter themed. The Easter Adventure will run from 1st until 16th April, and will include an Easter egg hunt, a show, a parade and spring farm - visitors will even be able to meet the Easter Bunny.
Sleeping Beauty at the Epstein Theatre
What better way to celebrate the whimsy and creativity of the Easter half term than with a showing of the classic fairy-tale, Sleeping Beauty at the Epstein Theatre? From 7th April until 16th April, the venue will be showing the production with a fantastic all-star cast and musical numbers - plus, with multiple times and ticket types available, families can enjoy, no matter their schedule or budget.
Easter Egg Trail and workshops at Bombed Out Church
From 1st April until 8th April, the Bombed Out Church will be hosting an Easter egg trail and themed workshops such as origami chicks crafts. Each child will be given their very own activity pack with activities like dot-to-dot, colouring, and a wordsearch. No pre-booking is required, so families are welcome to just turn up and get involved in the fun.
Easter Extravaganza at Southport Market
On 7th April and 8th April, Southport Market will be hosting an unmissable half term Easter extravaganza, which will include a live interactive show of ‘Colin and his Egg-tastic Adventure’, free face painting and many more exciting activities for children. Tickets cost just £9 per child, and over 12s can attend for free.
Liverpool Indoor Funfair
From 4th April until 13th April, the Exhibition Centre at Kings Dock will host over 26 thrilling fairground rides and attractions at the Indoor Funfair. Recognised as being amazing value for money, it's the perfect Easter holiday activity for kids. Tickets are just £12.99, babies in arms go free, and one admission gets you three whole hours of enjoying all the fun of the fair.
