Description

A friendly primary school in the L6 area is looking for a General Teaching Assistant to support across classes depending on need and your skill set. This role is ideal for someone adaptable, proactive, and confident working with a range of pupils.

Pay: £14.50 per hour, plus holiday pay.

Location: Liverpool, L6

Start: September 2026 (or earlier for right candidate)

Hours: 8: 30am-3.30pm Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities

-Provide classroom support in KS1 and/or KS2
-Assist with whole-class, small-group, and 1:1 learning activities
-Support behaviour, routines, and transitions
-Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff
-Help create a positive, engaging learning environment

Requirements

-Ability to adapt to different classrooms and needs
-Strong communication and organisational skills
-A positive, proactive attitude
-Relevant TA qualification (desirable but not essential)
