We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to work part time (mornings) in a Year 2 Class in Gaston, L19!
This will be 1-1 supporting a Child with ASD.
Pay: £13.80 per hour, plus holiday pay.
Location: Garston, L19
Start: ASAP
Hours: Monday to Friday , 9am to 12:45pm
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1-1 Support to a child with ASD
- Encourage positive behaviour and emotional regulation throughout the school day

Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum Level 2 qualification (Level 3 preferred but not essential)
- Experience working with SEN, particularly children whose communication, language and interaction skills are significantly below age-related expectations
- Ability to work closely with class staff and follow structured routines and support plans
- A Paediatric First Aid certificate.
All applicants must hold an enhanced DBS certificate (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered on the DBS update service. Candidates will be asked to provide a minimum of five years references and successfully pass all safeguarding checks
