We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team in a Reception classroom. This full-time role involves working closely with a pupil who has an EHCP.
This role has the potential to develop into a medium to long-term placement for the right candidate, depending on the ongoing needs of the child and whether they remain in a mainstream setting.
Pay: £13.80 per hour, plus holiday pay.
Location: Aintree, L10
Start: Asap until July 2026
Hours: Monday to Friday- 8:30am-3:30pm
Responsibilities:
- Provide general classroom support to help pupils with SEN and ADHD access the curriculum
- Support children working below age-related expectations with a nurturing and patient approach
- Encourage positive behaviour and emotional regulation throughout the school day

Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum Level 2 qualification (Level 3 preferred but not essential)
- Experience working with SEN, particularly children whose communication, language and interaction skills are significantly below age-related expectations
- Ability to work closely with class staff and follow structured routines and support plans
- A Paediatric First Aid certificate.
