We are looking for an experienced General TA to work in a school in Huyton, L36!
This will be working in a Year 5 Class in the morning and then a Reception Class in the Afternoon as a General TA supporting all children in both classes.
- Location: Huyton, L36!
- Pay: £12.75 - £14.28 per hour, plus holiday pay.
- Start: ASAP
- Hours: Monday - Friday , 8:30am to 3:30pm
Responsibilities:
- Providing support within the classroom wherever required
- Delivering activities on one-to-one or small group basis
- Ensuring children are engaged
- Adapting to every individual pupil’s needs
- Helping with behaviour management of children
Profile:
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant
- Previous experience supporting children with SEN
- Friendly, empathetic and motivating
- Strong regard for pupil safety-and well being
- Motivating with ability to engage pupils
- Good ability to manage behaviour
