We urgently require an Early Years Teaching Assistant/ SEN Learning Support to work with a child within the Reception class, in a Primary School in the L9 area of Liverpool. The child has severe ASD and the school have requested the successful candidate have relevant experience for the role.

To start: Immediately

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 12noon (these hours may increase over time)

Pay rate: £9.70 - £10.70 per our (plus holiday pay)



• Providing 1:1 support within the classroom to ensure the child can access the curriculum

• Delivering activities adapted to the child's ability and preferred learning style

• Ensure the child is engaged and be able to break down tasks/ activities into smaller more manageable steps

• Work on increasing communication skills to support inclusion within the class/ engage with peers


All applicants must hold an enhanced DBS certificate (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered on the DBS update service. Candidates will be asked to provide a minimum of five years references and successfully pass all safeguarding checks
