Project Manager, Special Educational Needs (SEN)

Permanent Manager position working for a Charity that is focused on the improving the lives of children with Special Educational Needs and their families.

4 days per week, flexible. Including some weekend work.

Total hours per week
30 hours per week. 

Main Duties

• To monitor service delivery within a family resource centre and toy library to ensure high professional standards to service users within the Project, in line with legislation.
• To identify the need for improvements and developments and develop action plans.
• Making proposals and bids for funding.
• To prepare reports and plans for the Project, which include targets for training staff, improving services and future developments.
• Explore opportunities to raise the profile of the Project.
• Ensure adequate and appropriate staffing, identifying and facilitating training for all staff.
• To ensure preparation of monthly activity reports, performance monitoring reports, annual reports and action plans of services delivered.
• Take the primary responsibility for the preparation and management of the project’s annual budget, including regular monitoring of income and expenditure against budget, and taking corrective action where necessary.

Qualifications & Experience

• Relevant qualification in Health & Social Care or Childcare Relevant
• Management qualification and/ or management experience
• Full Driving license
• Previous experience with children with special needs
• Knowledge of Heath & Safety
